Dare Together is built on trust, respect, and mutual support. These guidelines exist to make sure everyone feels safe, valued, and free to do their best work. They apply to all interactions within our community — both online and in person.
We welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, and experience levels. Treat everyone with kindness and respect. Listen actively. Assume good intentions. We are here to lift each other up, not to compete.
Be honest and direct, but kind. If something bothers you, address it early and calmly. Avoid passive aggression. When giving opinions, speak for yourself (“I feel...” rather than “You always...”). Respect quiet time and deep work hours.
Feedback is a gift. Give it constructively, receive it gracefully. Focus on the work, not the person. If someone asks for feedback, be thoughtful and specific. If you receive feedback, take a moment before reacting. Growth happens outside of comfort zones.
Keep shared spaces clean and organized. Be mindful of noise levels during work hours. Respect personal boundaries and private spaces. If you use communal equipment or supplies, put them back where you found them.
We have zero tolerance for harassment of any kind. This includes but is not limited to: unwelcome physical contact, verbal abuse, intimidation, stalking, sustained disruption, unwanted sexual attention, and discrimination based on gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.
If you experience or witness harassment, contact Simon or a designated community lead immediately. All reports will be taken seriously and handled confidentially.
What is shared within the community stays within the community. Respect the confidentiality of business ideas, personal stories, and conversations shared during blocks and community interactions.
Do not share another member’s personal information, business plans, or private conversations outside the community without their explicit permission. This applies to both in-person conversations and content shared on the member portal or group channels.
The same standards of respect and professionalism that apply in person also apply to all digital interactions — including the member portal, group chats, and social media.
We encourage a mindful approach to alcohol consumption, especially during community events. Excessive intoxication that disrupts the group or compromises safety is not acceptable.
The use, possession, or distribution of illegal substances is strictly prohibited during any Dare Together activity or in any shared accommodation.
Members are responsible for all their own costs, including travel, accommodation, meals, visa fees, and personal expenses. Dare Together does not book or pay for these on your behalf.
For group activities (adventures), costs will be communicated in advance. Participation is always voluntary. If you commit to an activity, you are expected to pay your share promptly. If you need to cancel, communicate as early as possible so costs can be redistributed fairly.
If you experience or witness a violation of these guidelines, please report it. You can do so by:
All reports will be taken seriously and handled confidentially. We will not retaliate against anyone who reports a violation in good faith.
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
Serious violations — including any form of harassment, discrimination, illegal activity, or endangering others — may result in immediate removal without prior warning.
We believe in second chances and honest conversations. But we also believe in protecting the safety and wellbeing of every member.
We may update these guidelines from time to time to reflect the evolving needs of our community. Members will be notified of material changes via email. The most current version will always be available on this page. Continued participation in the community after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
If any provision of these guidelines is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. Any invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that best reflects the intent of the original.
