In May 2026 we set off together for the first time. Five weeks in Indonesia, with people who are building their own projects.
Work and a surfboard during the week, a volcano or a boat at the weekend. In between, the conversations there is never time for at home.

A pool, rice fields outside the door, Rinjani on the horizon. Living together instead of rooms in different hotels.
People who live together challenge each other. Breakfast is about plans, the evening about what lies behind them.

And after that? Surfing, rice fields, sunset on the beach. New energy often comes from exactly the space between the work blocks.
Darethe summit.
Mount Rinjani. 3,726 metres above the sea.
Two days of climbing, one night in a tent above the clouds, the start for the summit at two in the morning.
At the top you stand on the crater rim as the sun comes up. After that you know what you are made of.
Out east.Komodo by boat.
Then out onto the water.
East by boat, from island to island through Komodo National Park. Turquoise water, Komodo dragons up close, dinner on deck.
On Padar the climb starts in the dark, just in time for sunrise. Below you, the bays in the first light and a group that arrived together.

I came for the islands and ended up remembering the dinners. Nobody was networking, people were just honestly interested in each other.
