A house by the sea, already reserved.
Three houses in Camps Bay and Bakoven are reserved for us. I decide which one once the group is set. One of them: a penthouse above the bay of Bakoven, at the foot of the Twelve Apostles, with fibre and a desk in every room.

During the day, working hours are the norm, not the exception. Fibre and coworking are planned in.

Once the group is set, I pick the house. Everyone books their own flight.

The person behind Dare Together is me, Simon.
I did not want to choose between work and travel. So I organised it myself.
Lombok was the first time it worked: five weeks, a small circle, the best time of the year. Cape Town is the same plan. Personal, with people I have spoken to beforehand.
It really starts after the trip.
The good conversations do not happen at events, they happen on the road: while cooking, in the car, on the way to the beach. What grows out of that carries on in a small group on WhatsApp. That is where the next trip shows up first.
The circle is small, and it stays that way. Cape Town is the second trip, whoever joins now is in from the start.

Questions.Answered honestly.
No. Dare Together is not a travel organiser. The only thing that runs through us is the accommodation in the shared house, together with organising the week. The trip only takes place occasionally, nobody makes a profit from it, and a place is only offered after a personal conversation. That is why the rules on package travel (sections 651a ff. of the German Civil Code) do not apply, and there is no insolvency certificate for package travel. You pay for activities on site individually, and only if you join. You book your flight yourself, directly with the provider, and you pay there too. I recommend a refundable fare and trip cancellation insurance.

Daytime is work time, not the exception. Fiber internet and coworking are planned. If you only want a holiday, you will not be happy here.
