In May 2026 we set off together for the first time: a small group, five weeks on Lombok, booked ourselves and lived together. Work in the morning; volcano, surfboard or nothing at all in the afternoon. That is the format we are taking to Cape Town.
That trip is where the idea for Cape Town came from.
Early 2027

The group is set. In the call you get everything you need for your decision, and you commit.
We decide dates, villa and rooms as a group. Everyone books the villa and the flight themselves.
Early 2027. Two to three weeks in Cape Town.
A small group, not a tour group. People who are self-employed or building something remote, and who would rather have good conversations in the evening than take party photos.
Whoever comes along brings their work and the appetite to spend a few weeks with people they have not met yet. That is the only requirement.
The waitlist asks what you do and what range you are planning with, so that the group that ends up flying fits together.
I am building my own web studio and started Dare Together because I wanted both: real work and a real life, with people who see it the same way. I organised Lombok myself and lived it with everyone else. I am planning Cape Town the same way: personally, in a small circle.
Dare Together started as a trip, not as a network. The good conversations do not happen at events, they happen on the road: while cooking, in the car, on the way to the beach. What lasts grows out of the trips. A small WhatsApp group where the next one shows up first.
It is not big yet. Cape Town is the second trip. Whoever joins now is in from the start.

No. Dare Together is not a travel organiser and does not broker travel services. You book your flight and your accommodation yourself, directly with the provider, and you pay there too. No money for flights, accommodation or transport passes through me. What I do: put the group together, organise the shared programme, look after the community and be there on site as your contact. There is a participation fee for that. Because no travel services are bundled, the rules on package travel (sections 651a ff. of the German Civil Code) do not apply, and there is no insolvency certificate for package travel. That is why I recommend refundable rates and a trip cancellation insurance.
Your costs come in two parts. You book and pay for flight and accommodation yourself; what that adds up to depends on your own decisions, and I share experience and recommendations with the group. On top of that comes a participation fee to Dare Together for curation, organisation, community and hosting on site. I tell you the fee in the personal call, before you decide, together with all the terms. Joining the waitlist is free and non-binding.
Two to three weeks, early 2027. We set the exact dates together with the group.
Daytime is work time, not the exception. Fiber internet and coworking are planned. If you only want a holiday, you will not be happy here.
